Unearthing you.
We have so much pent-up potential. So much barricaded beauty. It’s itching to be unearthed. Sprinkle a little water of truth on us and our potential germinates. Bouquets of beauty burst forth. Other treasures, however, need a little digging to unearth. Not to worry, we have some water and mining tools to help you in the process.

What if all we see is the bad stuff?
I get it.
This kid raising season I’m in right now squeezes out of me a mix of greatness and yuck. Shining some days, I praise God for the wisdom and patience I pour on my kids. Other days I lose it, sling a 4-letter word across the room, and question whether God made a mistake calling me to be their mom.
Recently, our oldest daughter said, “Mommy, sometimes you throw your anger at us like a witch throws poison.” (I think that was a Minecraft reference)
Exposing what’s underneath.
So, I have a choice in this season. Do I beat myself down and blame God for choosing me? Or do I stand before Him in all the beautiful and the yuck?
I’ll stand. Exposed. Will you stand with me?
When we meet Love forehead to forehead, looking Him in the eye, His gaze instantly changes us. As a result, hope bubbles up. Junk mindsets beating down our potential are plucked apart. Painful stories playing on repeat squeal to a stop. Anxiety hushes.
Building you back up.
Lock gazes with God. Experience His fierce love, in tangible ways. Let His love drip hope and purpose on those dry, dark places and watch as life grows.
Shuck off shame and watch it wither.
